Welcome to the Watuko Headgear blog. It's been a long time coming, and we're very excited to start sharing more information with you.
Not only will we be taking part in "product talk" (which we really like because we're very proud of our amazing lines), we'll be discussing a wide variety of subjects. It's going to be fun, and I make this promise to you now:
It won't be boring!
We'll be sharing videos, images, ideas, stories, and even some interesting technical "stuff" once and awhile. To get things started I want to share this picture from Jocelyn's Photoshop factory she's been cultivating lately.
She emailed me today to show me something she was "just playing around on" but I love it so much I HAD to post it on this first blog post. The reversible slouch beanie for men (worn by a guy who was gifted from birth apparently) ;-).

Product Page Content
We're starting something new with our product lines. Over the years, since Jocelyn founded Watuko Headgear she's noticed that people who wear her sport headbands, slouch beanies, and multi-functional tubes (just to name a few), cherish them.
So for fun, we're going to personalize each product by giving them their own special names.
For starters we have christened this slouch beanie then "Chameleon" - this slouchy hat is called the "Rodeo" (pronounced "roh-day-oh)" - and the latest slouch to get a new name is the "Picasso".
Fun stuff, and we encourage you to let us know what you think. At this time we won't share how we came up with the names because we'll let you come up with your own reasons (have to have a little mystery right!)

Social Media
We started working our social media streams more. This has also been fun. All involved are excited to try different posts to share with our growing list of followers.
You can see the quick links to our Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook pages at the top our header. We're working on developing our flow of social media posts, including new product updates, quotes, images, hashtags, etc.
New Icon/Logo
Due to the fact that the Watuko Headgear social media campaigns have started, we needed to a develop consistent icon/logo to use going forward. Our team is pretty creative, so it didn't take that long to come up with some ideas. Our founder had the idea that it might be appropriate to customize the letter W for "Watuko", and the started the ideas flowing. We also wanted to highlight the eco-friendly aspect of our brand.
Blog Addition
Uh...well...you're reading it. So far so good, and we'll keep adding new posts to keep you in the loop.
There is a lot more in the works, but Jocelyn will have to fill you in on that. She's always got some new product or product line idea swimming in her head.
